A set of posters and activities for 7-14 year olds investigating the UN Millennium, Development Goals.

This pack of nine full colour posters is designed to introduce pupils to the eight Millennium Development Goals, the international targets set by all UN member states for reducing poverty by 2015. Each poster will provoke discussion of the goals through photographs, quotations and case studies. The issues covered by the posters include: - trade, aid and debt - education - environment - HIV/AIDS - Poverty and hunger - Gender Each poster is accompanied by a set of teachers' notes and activities which will help pupils to communicate more confidently about major global issues, as well as to think about what their individual contributions and responsibilities could be.
