Welcome to Global Language Books, an Australian business servicing the needs of children, parents, caregivers, childcare, schools, and libraries.
Our main focus is inclusive resources for the literacy of children if their language is other than English. We are also specialists in bulk collections of books for public libraries in many languages for adults, but particularly in bilingual children's picture books in over 50 languages, and C.A.L.D (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) resources which are sourced from around the world. We proudly represent a number of the very best publishers in this field.
It is our aim to bring you quality resources that share an exchange of ideas, philosophies, knowledge, stories and language. The importance of maintaining a child's home language is now well recognised by parents and educators alike. It is also important for children from all backgrounds to experience another's language and culture through a love of books. As our books are bilingual, your library is benefiting from not just one book, but two at similar cost!
Not only do we have wonderful bilingual picture books, but also books in English that encourage inclusion for children of all abilities, please view our home page.

What you can do at home:
5. Read to your child in your first language - research shows that using your first language will help your child when he or she learns to read English.
